The Tocqueville Prize\u00a0<\/strong>is awarded every two years to a person whose work is part of the intellectual legacy of Alexis de Tocqueville. It was created in 1979 by Alain Peyrefitte, a member of the Acad\u00e9mie Fran\u00e7aise, former Minister Pierre Godefroy, Deputy of La Manche, and Count and Countess Guy d\u2019H\u00e9rouville.<\/p>

The new edition of the prize will be co-organized by the\u00a0Institut de France<\/strong>\u00a0and the Tocqueville Foundation in\u00a02026<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
