Conference – “Democracy in Peril: What Would Tocqueville Think Today?”

The eminent Tocqueville scholar Françoise Mélonio, Professor Emerita at the Sorbonne, will give an exceptional lecture on Friday, November 14 at 8 p.m. at the Espace Maurice-Béjart (Verneuil-sur-Seine). Through her insightful perspective, she will explore Tocqueville’s thought and its enduring relevance to the challenges facing contemporary democracies.
